The majority of leaders are using information and technology systems in relation to SRM in some form , indicating a clear linkage between leaders and their adoption of infor- mation and technology solutions. While leaders have slightly better support from their systems, still 45% report that support provided by their systems is poor .

An industry perspective At an industry level, FMCG companies are the most likely to be using systems, followed by manufacturing and financial services. Interestingly, IT / high tech companies appear to be the least likely to be using information and technology to support their SRM activities.
