2016 Global SRM Research - Supplier relationships in tech

TECHNOLOGY

Despite these benefits, having the latest SRM software remains the least widely adopted of State of Flux’s pillars of SRM. When it comes to technology, both leaders and followers are stuck in the “developing” stage of our maturity model, while all other respondents are “undeveloped”. It’s an interesting situation as information technology’s support for contract management, supplier information management, performance management and benefits capture and reporting is cited as either important or very important to the majority of our survey respondents (Fig 24) . Despite thebenefits, information technology remains the least developedof Stateof Flux’spillarsof SRM 62% Only 62%of business have technology in place for supply-side contract management
