In complex global organisations technology helps drive a consistent supplier experience, where the business is aligned on treatment of strategic suppliers. It’s all too common to see strategic suppliers managed in a tactical way and tactical suppliers managed strategically. In the same way the sell-side would manage a key customer, SRM technology is CRM in reverse.
